Jury Duty

It's like i'm drafted

Drafted for jury duty. I'm going to try to find an excuse to not go. I already tried postponing it, but the fines for not going is VERY costly and one could end up behind bars.

So... now i've got an excuse form to fill out. If I don't sound convincing, I will be forced to do jury duty.

Here are the choices:

Request to be excused because-

a.) I have a physical or mental incapacity that prevents me from serving. (Physician must fill out a medical form)

b.) I have a personal obligation to provide full time care for another from the hours of 8 am to 5pm Mon-Fri. (State relationship to dependent, age(s) and type of care)

c.) I have no reasonable means of transportation to the court location.

d.) Other. (state in Section D) Full-time student status, occupation as a teacher, and age do not qualify for excuse.

e.) Financial hardship: Fill out Section C. Number of Persons _______ (Adults ________ Minors_________) in my household. Total yearly income of all individuals in my household before taxes $ ________. Monthly household expenses $__________.

Failure to properly explain may cause automatic qualification for jury service.


From the way these are worded, looks like i'm doomed for jury service.

well, to her it comes naturally but...

just go to the time they want you to come --- and then when they tell you to rise you say "i no esssbeeeeak eeeeeengleeeeeeesh"



I swear they'll just roll their eyes and have you go on your way

ps: i think it STINKS that being a full time student isn't a good enough excuse ... who do these losers think we are?! losers like them????!!!

over here u get put on the list when you turn 18 --- or is it when you have a driver's license? or is it when you register to vote??

Now, for the pseudo-arabic accent-

when I tried to speak like I don't know how to speak english, i sounded like i had a spanish accent- or french.

I'm not being able to speak with an arabic accent. I sound rediculous!

cuz they might like do a background check on you and call up places where u used to work and ask them stuff like that and if they tell the big people that u know perfect english then you're sCrEwEd
