    Lightbulb Wooow

    Happy "cinco de Mayo" to you too. What a coincidence !! I was just having a talk today with a Mexican friend (who shares the office with me in the Uni) and he told me that this day is only celebrated in one region in Mexico (not in Mexico city where he lives)..... so how could you know about it !!! you must be a "celebrations addict"

    The next celebration will be "the mother's day" this Sunday (in the American calendar, not the British one)... so take advantage and give your mom a fancy present

    Are there any other celebrations in May..... Please let me know

    *ehm* My b'day falls on Mothers day Once again
    In the Qur'an, Allah says:

    "When My servants ask about Me, I am indeed close to them. I listen to the prayer of every supplicant, when he calls on Me.
    Let them also, with a will, listen to My call, and believe in Me, so that they may walk in the right way" (Qur'an 2:186).

    LOL! nah, i'm not really a celebrations addict --- i'm more of an ~independence~ addict

    really? well where i live, there are Mexicans north, south, east and west and they were all celebrating it --- lol, i had to take detours to get to school cuz some streets were closed for celebration

    yep yep - mothers day is coming up and i have NO idea what to do for my mumster !! i can't afford the things she likes -- maybe i'll ask de pops to chip in

    next May holiday (in the states) -- MEMORIAL DAY! I'll sure as hell be "celebrating" that one --- celebrating the ~no school~ part, that is

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Flower -- don't worry - something nice, VERY nice will happen on that day *WINK*
    hee hee
    wow... even i had it wrong it's not the Mexican independence day, it's actually a "commemoration of an initial victory of Mexican forces led by General Ignacio Zaragoza over French forces in the Battle of Puebla on May 5, 1862. The date is observed in the United States and other locations around the world as a celebration of Mexican heritage and pride." (Cinco de Mayo - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)
    yeah... oops
