I know this should be in a different area on the forum, but I was wanting as many people to read this in hope that someone could help me out.
My mother in law is shortly coming to the UK on a visit, but with swine flu and so forth, I thought it is most probably neccessary to get her some lovely travel insurance, does anyone know where she could purchase some in Algiers? Or a company that covers Algerians who reside in Algeria? We phoned up various companies in Europe and they all say that we need to get it from the country where she is resident. So... any ideas? Please please...![]()

Salam wa sabah el khair
If it's insurance companies you're after, brace yourself for some tedious wading through French-language articles:

Travel insurance for Algerians does get a few mentions in there.
(There's even a whole book in there you can download for free!)

In case you're struggling, here's one that you could take a look at.

We found one in the end, within the first 7 pages *woo!* I think it was the laccier... they had an office in algiers, and one near my mother-in-laws village... although when my husband phoned they said they couldnt sell it to him there and then due to their computer being out of action at the moment... only in Algeria...
