I'm learning how to embed YouTube videos and others, 'halal' of course,into my postings for purposes of illustration and to share clips with Alg.com users.

My question is, is this allowed and under what conditions? Please do not refer me to a very long page in small print to read. A few bullet points will do. [Al-Khiyal?]

There are many, many, many YouTube and Dailymotion clips embedded in various threads throughout this site. If a clip is hosted with either of those sites, it's potentially embeddable here. '7alal' is the only key concept to bear in mind - that and the fact that sometimes uploaders decide to delete their clips, so there's no guarantee a clip will stay functional. Algeria.com merely facilitates the embedding of clips, responsibility re: copyright issues etc. rests with the uploaders and the hosting sites.
