Stupid, stupid questions! Any answers?

Hi everyone

I would like to start this lighthearted new thread for a bit of fun. It could be made very interesting and witty. Smart answers are also welcome, but the genius is in asking the stupid question first. It has to be kept clean, otherwise it's doomed. I have no idea if this has been done before or not.

The idea came to me last night. I was startled when I found a spider in my folded kitchen towel. My immediate reaction was, '' oh I can't have that in my kitchen''. So, I squashed it! Then I remembered the spider that saved Prophet Mohammed's life (pbuh), and felt a bit guilty. '' Was that haram what I just did?'', I thought to myself.

That's a stupid question, right?
Here are a few more Stupid, Stupid Questions:

1. If Man evolved from ape (evolution), then why do we still have apes? Did some get left behind?

2. If a turtle does not have a shell, is it 'naked' or 'homeless' ?

3. Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

You disappoint me mohovitch! I expected more from you. The whole point is to stimulate lighthearted, but intelligent discussion. Just pick one and give us your viewpoint. Then, add another one of your own for others to comment on. You can of course do a bit of research for that.

Speaking of research, I did a bit myself and selected a couple of ideas for this exercise. Now, Allah is my witness, the idea came to me before the 'research'. I was shocked to find what I thought was an original idea for a new thread already existed in a slightly different form. Small world, eh?

Let's not detract ourselves from the 'game' though.

I probably failed to understand the concept, but that was supposed to be a stupid question... Ok, the objective is to start an intelligent discussion. I will try to find a question for which I do not have an answer... this is going to be very difficult

OK, let's see:

0) Yes, killing God's creatures like that is not good tut tut
1) They say that both man and ape evolved from a common ancestor. So not [man from ape] as many believe/are made to believe, but [man + ape] from ape-like ancestor. Notice in drawings you never see what the ape-like ancestor evolved from. Very poor imagination if you ask me!
2) The shell is part of the turtle not an addition to it. As far as I know!
3) Not true! They taste ok

There was a program or something not long ago about kids who boggle their parents with this type of questions.

The ones I remember:

1) Why water is wet?
2) Why do kamikazes wear helmets?
3) If a tree in a forest fell, and there was no one around to hear, would it make a sound?
4) Why there are no islands in Al-jazā’ir? (I just made that one up! )

Quick answer to 4, There used to be. The "spaniards" have built a fort on one of them... later the turks connected the islands to the port.
