Well I think:
1/ The boss' calculations are wrong (definition of "Day")
2/ How can the employee ask for an EXTRA day if he only works 1 day a year??!!

Can you correct the Boss
An employer came to his boss and ask one day off
and here what the boss calculate
So you want to have ONE day off ?
Lets see all this
There is 365 days per year; mean 52 weeks in the same year
And each week you have 2 day off (week-end)
So just 261 day remaining period for doing your job,
but you already spend 16hours each day out of the job it already give you a total of 170 days,
so just have 91 day remaining for doing your job
everyday you take 30 min of break, for coffees and stupid stuff, this make an other total of 69 days
So you just have 22 days remaining to make your job
You are generally have each years a sick leave for 2 days
So you just have 20 days remaining to make your job
We are closed 5 days a year for renovation
So you just have 15 days remaining to make your job
We have 14 days per annum as free related to religions and national holidays
So we have only one day remaining to make your job and you ask me an additional free day
An employer came to his boss and ask one day off

Lets see all this
There is 365 days per year; mean 52 weeks in the same year

So just 261 day remaining period for doing your job,
but you already spend 16hours each day out of the job it already give you a total of 170 days,
so just have 87 day remaining for doing your job
everyday you take 30 min of break, for coffees and stupid stuff, this make an other total of 2 days
So you just have 85 days remaining to make your job
You are generally have each years a sick leave for 2 days
So you just have 83 days remaining to make your job
We are closed 5 days a year for renovation
So you just have 78 days remaining to make your job
We have 14 days per annum as free related to religions and national holidays
So we have only 64 days remaining to make your job.
The guy is asking for one day but according to previous dissections, he is only asking for 7.5 hrs out of 64 x 24 hrs!
However, I still think the guy shouldn't for example count the 5 days for rennovation as 5 DAYS as he already deduced (16 hrs x 5) from the 5 days which should leave him with 40 hrs i.e. less than 2 days and deduced 1/2 hr x 5; should be 37.5 hrs (over 1 day)!!
OK, that's all.. what's the answer?

Here was the mistake the boss misslead the empolyer into
……but you already spend 16hours each day out of the job it already give you a total of 170 days,…
These 170 days was already counted into the previous note of
…. All the reat is correct

444 (12) 246
555 (15) 258
777 (?) 399
The question mark is into the middle, and the fisrt equal numbers are 444 ===) give 12
than the second line is 555===) give 15
the third line is 777 correct? betwenn 444 and 555 is one step but between 15-3 iqual number 3, so 777 and 555 is two steps because 666 was not in the number LOGICALY
444===12
555===15
666===18
777===21
if there was 888 than ===25
should be 2 steps*3 = 6 + 15=21
In the bellow case, you have to notice that the nuber shoosen are the firt one before the parenthese [x(]an the second one is the one after the parentheses [ )x]
so 355 and 533 use 5 and 5 = 55
233 and 222 use use 3 and 2 = 32
automatically or logically the last is 8 and 3 = 83
355 (55) 533
233 (32) 222
428 (?) 323
Hope you folowed me
nice week-end

An other one
Two planes take off at the same exact moment. They are flying across the Atlantic. One leaves New York and is flying to Paris at 500 miles per hour. The other leaves Paris and is flying to New York at only 450 miles per hour (because of a strong head wind). Which one will be closer to Paris when they meet?

Fortunato already explained it..
It's just part of an IQ test I was looking at, Logic section... They try to confuse you but it's about observation sometimes rather than calculations.
The answers were not there so that's only what I think..
