Cool man, I did not wanna scare u about telling your mom I love U is though by algerian men standards, LOL, and I wonder why Algerian girls think we r rude
I am really happy for you, good decision.
As for good deads, well just calling familly is a very good one, uncles /ants u haven't talked to recently is a good choiceTough but helps in selfcontrol and lowers obstinacy and arrogance without touching the self-esteam.
PS: BTW, why is it so hard for an algerian to tell his Mom I love you?

Salam MrMean,
I hope you are well.
Sorry for the long post, but I know you like reading anyway
I am glad you decided to stop drinking alcohol, alcohol is no good, people drink for escapism, to run away from reality. It has been forbidden to us because it causes corruption at a personal level and at a societal level.
Regarding your question of Heaven and Hell, yes I believe both of them exist. Why? Because I believe Allah swt exists
I believe the Angels exist, His holy books exist, His prophets and messengers, The Day of Judgement and Fate/Destiny.
There are numerous verses of the Quran and Ahadeeth of the prophet pbuh that comfirm the existance of Heaven and Hell at present.
For example, when the prophet pbuh was on the journey of Israa and Mi'raage, he saw both Heaven and Hell.
Allah swt says (Interpretation of the meaning):
“Race with one another in hastening towards forgiveness from your Lord (Allaah), and Paradise the width whereof is as the width of the heaven and the earth, prepared for those who believe in Allaah and His Messengers”[al-Hadeed 57:21]
MrMean, look at the mercy of Allah swt, we humans are sinners by nature, we all sin, but we do not live in despair, Allah's door of mercy is always open, no matter how many sins we've commited, Allah swt openly invites mankind to invocate. "Verily, your Lord has said:"Call upon Me, and I will answer you!" (40:60)
Life after death is something you really need to think about MrMean. It all starts when the pen is lifted, as soon as someone dies, the two angels will stop writing what he/she has done and commited throughout his/her life.
It will be too late then, nobody knows when he will die, it could be in one hour, it could be in 10 days. Whats inevitable however is that everybody will experience death. Nobody escapes it. So we need to question ourselves from NOW, what will happen to us after we die.
Ok, I want you to look at things from this angle I am going to talk about.
It is very important you also question yourself why do you exist? A pen exists so you can write with it, a glass exists so you can drink from it, but why do YOU exist? Before you can answer that, there is another question you have to ponder, HOW did you exist? The answer is here look:
"And I (Allaah) created not the jinns and humans except they should worship Me (Alone)" (51:56).
So this is our purpose in life.
Ok now that we know where we came from and why we are here on earth, you think, well how am I going to worship Allah swt? How shall I live life? When you get a box from the postman, you open it, the thing inside it looks flashy, brand new, has a screen...etc but then you think, how the hell shall I work this thing? What is it anyway? You go and search for the User Manual in the empty box, right?
Allah swt created us and then sent messengers with scriptures, he sent us the Quran (life manual).
Allah promises believers a beautiful endless life in the hereafter. We aint on this earth to face all these hardships, stress, wars, diseases, unhappiness, problems...to then just finally die and thats it you become soil. NO, surely there is a better life in the hereafter, an endless happy life.
The life we live now is all tests, we are being tested, do we obey or disobey. Islam was sent for our benefit, for our guidance, and insha'Allah we will win both worlds.
May Allah grant you heaven MrMean.
