Wisdom Seeker, I just found this - it explains what the hadith is

    http://www.usc.edu/dept/MSA/fundamentals/hadithsunnah/

Quick question, why the concern over the process that muslim women have to go through to change to another religion?

I think the religion that they choose would outline the process i.e. I don't think there is a process to leave a religion, but I think every religion has rules to join.

In your search, if you happen to find information on what women have to do to leave Judiasm, Catholicism, the Hindu faith or any other religion please let me know.

Also correct me if I am wrong, you are still trying to prove something?

The hadith turns out to mean that women tend to be weaker in using their minds (well which weesdom seeker won`t agree with anyways ). Even this I dont have concrete scientific proof, but as a muslim I will believe in it the same way as I belive in God (although you can get few examples such ClioPathra of Egypt,All the sensitivity thing that sometimes weesdom seeker insists to be talked to as a woman,....anyways women are different from men I wouldnt be surprised if any thing was discovered).

P.s Weesdom seeker did you think we expect you to like Hadith? I am starting to question the integrity of your mind now

KSSOS, I think WS is still trying to prove her point in women not given options to choose outside of islam.

Well, If you read her first post carefully you would have realised that she mentioned that my comments were stupid.

WS, I am not a religious person and I would never put down any religion or it's followers down.

That is what you did yesterday and you are still continuing on the same path.

Question, why were you so quick to jump and convert to a religion that you question left and right and center. Your questions should have been answered before you converted.

Also, if you think so little of Islam and the women of Islam, why did you become one?

Just thinking about the muslim women who would like to marry non muslims and how they could go about achieving it. We've discussed it in the sense of women converting to islam for their husbands.. Wanted to know the process for women converting to another religion for their husbands.

I havent researched this into any religion. i have no clue what a jewish woman has to do to step away from judiasm.. i think they do just that... step away.. thats what my jewish friend has done.. non practicing.. but i dont think she would convert to another religion. i think catholics just become baptized as something else to get out of catholicism. So the thing you are is the last thing you chose pretty much. thats all the info i have on them... so i hope that does you well enough.

the only religion i have no idea about is islam because the question has never arised when i meet up with my muslim girlfriends.
