It would be considered politically incorrect for an employer to tell an employee to leave the care of the children to his wife.
if the employEE wished to pursue a law suit.. he could.. and most likely.. WOULD win.

They would call it being sexist.
chauvanism.. ageism.. sexism.. racism... anything that discriminates any particular group of people is completely looked down upon.

Didn't expect you to say anything about your love! I was just thinking that when you love someone enough to accept to share your life with them, you might not think about how much everyone does when it comes to little things in the kitchen or the garden! Your priority would be to make them happy, right? And I'm sure they would reciprocate that. A couple's life isn't always smooth running, I'm sure you agree! At the end of the day, your priority would be to sustain your relationship right? A marriage needs hard work and that sometimes involves making sacrifices, but then somehow maths are not involved! You don't count! Sorry I'm probably feeling too romantic today

i agree on the lawsuit joke ! i noticed that too!! but in the USA. I wish I had listened better when my friend explained how the system here works. We do have small claims court and all that.. but theres some legal mumbo jumbo that protects people from having to pay out large sums of money.. as they do in the USA. I really should read up on that... seeing it is one of our laws that i am proud of. We are more socialist here.. if you become disabled because of someone elses error.. they go to jail and the government supports you.

I wonder which part your boss meant.. that it was a joke.. or that it wasnt your responsibility to watch the kids.
