I am not,but I can tell u have to go trough too much trouble for investement.
Without experiance, or a big head in ur board, there are very tinny chances in Europe (UK is ok, US is best)..
Never think your cool idea is what they are looking for, it's moslty networking and they like investing millions on old men because of their gray hair, and stupid idea that you can beat them to it in no time. The more money u ask, the more serious you would sound.

Man I know its very stressfull, you get 12 hours work and sht, and very difficult to get into but believe it or not my asian friend is a computer scientist and got one with Morgan Stanley.
I mean if you do it you will just have no life. But for somebody who want to make money they might do it for some years and then have their own business.

I know what u r talking about. I know an egyptien who got 12 million bucks for a stupid idea, best of all he sold the company 46 bucks about 2 years later, and that product never got used. It's all about contacts, beleive me. I have been trough investement stages, start-ups, business-angels, market research..
We got some money and we made a product 20 times better than the competitors who got Millions of euros (we did not even get a share of it)..
I left the company now, and the only think I learned is u need contacts

PS: I don't know what finance stuff u r learning? I think LieDetector is talking about something else, or maybe I did not get u. Do you have $$$ and need investement advise, or u need investers to give u the cash to enjoy?

Sorry but if you are an investment banker you are just an employee I thought,so you have a salary.
May be you think I am talking about investing your own money ?
