If you were raised in La Grande Kabyle (especially Tizi Ouzou and surrounding areas) I'd love to hear from you! I don't mind if you are based in Algeria or abroad since I'm looking to enhance my knowledge and awareness of the region and culture.

For the past few years I've developed a great interest in the area having visited on a number of occasions, as well as marrying into a 'kabyle' family. Any hints on how I can compete with my sister in-law's fabulous cooking would be much appreciated!! Does anyone know of some tasty vegetarian dishes? (I know, I'm awkard!)

But that's brilliant!!!! Are you Kabyle born and bred? I haven't travelled much further east than Tigzirt so maybe you could teach me something! What region/wilaya are you from?

From Bejaia but always lived in Setif (before i left dz)...
