I am desperate to learn more about your country, culture and learn about women's right. I have a teenage friend who moved to Algiers from America and I am very worried about her. I have not heard from her since she moved to Algeria. I would love to share the entire story with someone who is willing to teach me. If you have a warm heart and a good ear, please respond.

Ask thy questions friend...
Peace Be Upon Those Who Follow Guidance,
Dear Tracy,
I read your little note and would like shed some light on any concerns or questions you may have about Algeria, its Great People, its culture, and religion in general. There are many other nice Algerians on this forum that I think are even more knowledgeable than myself about the country, but I'll try to help you as much as I can.
Sincerely,
Saladin

Hi Tracy,
First you should find out about your friend where about. Did she go there to stay with a boyfriend/girl a host family or just alone without any contact ? You should also check with the American consulat in Algiers if she registered herself ? Then you can check the Algerian consulat in the USA where she got her visa. They must kept a record of her application with full details about her stay, school and so forth. Then you let us know the full story in order to help you. I hope to hear the good news from you soon.
PS: Understand that Algeria is like any southern European country. Girls work, drive, wear western clothes and travel ungarded. We are not Saudia Arabia.
Best of luck.
