Don't Know
Hello dziria
I don't know why. I wish I did. Maybe people are scared of what they hear on the news at the moment. They believe all the rubbish they read in papers especially here in the uk.
I am married to an Algerian man and I'm proud of who he is
and I hold my head up high and say Algerain people are kind and good as I have been there and I love it in Algeria!!

autre expication dziria
bonne chance

Bonjour Dziria
Hello Dziria
Not all people dislike or look down upon people who are different or are from North Africa. Worst of all I am
really ashamed of my so-called friends who don't read and are really unaware of what is really going on it the world and people form very bias opinions about people they don't really know out of ignorance and prejudice and It is really a shame. I love all people regardless of their Nationality,
Culture or religious faith.
You know, since my Grandfather told me of my Algerienne roots, it is something that I an really very proud of and for me being Afro-American that makes it very special to
me. I always wondered why I had such an interest in French Language and North African Culture. Now, I know why, ma arriere-grande-pere etait une savant, and when he came to America they changed his Algerian name to an Amrican one. He named one of my aunts "Atlas" after the Atlas mountains of Algeria.
Dziria, Do you or anyone in The Forum might know of
a family of Batna, Algeria named Lombarek? I had a friend
named Aouf Lombarek from Tazoult, Lambese and just in recent years found out he is my distant relative. We lost
touch over the years, but I think he would be happy to know this news. email me and tell me what you think.
best wishes. Cheryl
