My name is Agatha. I am a student at a university in the US. I am doing a research project on Algeria. I have done much research on the country but I still feel that personal experience would answer my questions in a far more accurate and reliable manner. Before this projet my knowlegde about the country was very limited and would probably still be considered such today. I am seeking to make contact with anyone from or knowlegable about Algeria. I have never had the privelage to travel to Algeria, but hope to some day. My specific interest is in the communication, specifically radio, within the country. I would like to know who listens to radio, what do they listen to-what is offered in terms of content? How many internal radio stations are there in Algeria? Do more people listen to domestic broadcasts than to external french and arabic broadcasts? What type of music is popular in Algeria and is it aired on radio stations? I apologize for having so many questions. My interest in this subject is great and I have been unsuccessful up until this point making contact with anyone willing to share their experience with me. I hope my luck will soon change.
