    i am PhD student in genetics in france and i am looking for students in similar trainings in US?
    Ah, I live in france and i will finish my thesis next year so i have to prepare my future situation!

    Genetics in the USA

    Hi Anissa,

    First of all congratulations for your PhD work. genetics is a very promising field. The job market is very tight in the US due to economic slow down and reduction in research money. That said you will have a good chance in finding a postdoctoral opportunity in an academic research lab. please contact me for more info.

    Anissa finished her PhD since 4 years ago by now (message posted in 2005), I guess all this thread is useless, unless Anissa shows up.
