I`d like to know about type of relations in Algeria

Hello everyone!I am very interested in following question-what kind of relations between man and woman exists in Algeria?I mean this period after they meet and before potentional wedding.How is it set in Algeria?Is it absolutely different from Europe? How long can couple be dating before getting married?Are the reasons to marry different from european?

The algerian society and the algerian culture is not uniform.there are many ways of living ,some modern with westernlike values ,some traditional with eastern and conservative values.
Returning to your question concerning marriage and relations between couples ;the majority are conservative i,e no explicit dating like in the western wolrd(the girl live with her friend with the knowldge of everybody).
but there are people who try to get more freedom in their choice ,those people behave like europeans but not at the level of the europeans and sometimes they try to mix the 2 cultures.

It is hard to get into a sociological analysis of the algerian society,there is no final or cleracut image of the society.It is evolving day by day ,influenced by factors like eduaction ,religion,media,economy...and even within cultural and linguistic conflicts
Nobody know how it will be its ultimate shape.
