I have been wondering if there would be any people from Oran and now I find some people living there or who are originally from there. If you like to get in contact, don't hesitate.

To who concern (people that live in Algeria)
I am Giacomo, an Italian guy of 33 years. I have the opportunity to come in your country to work there. I heard many history about Islamic countries, some good some less. For this reasons I am actually a little bit confused. I use to travel and work in different countries but always in Europe, never in North Africa. I would like come there also with my family (I have a baby of 3 months) but I do not know how is the life there. For example, are hospitals good? Can you explain me please how is the life there, differences and analogies with the European countries.
Thank you in advance
Giacomo

Hi there Giacomo,
Oran is a beautiful place to go to. Right now there are many chinese people living in the city. I will not lie to you tho, it is hard to find an apartment to live in if you plan to do so. The hospitals are so so. They are not bad but if you plan to live there, you must at least know how to speak french. The people are very nice and helpful. Just becareful of the close minded men who may shamelessly check out your wife, its their state of mind.
Oran is different than europe, but it is in the process of become more contemporary in terms of, well, everything from houses to transportation. It will be changing to look much more modern in these next few years.
