There are more important things!!!
I think this discussion between Djoneid and Lazhar
is becoming too strange.
We are in a world where the human life is worth nothing
(look at starving people and people getting killed
everyday in any palce in the world with the easiness of
eatting a sandwich) and our friends are discussing
whether the god speak or not. Do you care? Does help
you or help us? is it important to know
who wrote such non-sense? Do you really live to know
these things? get a life and breath some fresh air!!
We as arab and muslims are in a major crisis but we still
discuss infertile things. Either we become like this
or we imitate our french neighbors in their manners and
clothing with nothing of our own.
Guys your time is too valuable to be spent on
such discussions.
wake up!!!

salam sahraoui, you are not wrong in a sense.but, let me tell you why it is very important to talk about these matters.it is simply because such religious matters have links with our life in general.as an exemple,i can cite the case of hundreds or thousands of algerian youths who were misguided by some doctrines such us wahabism.how do u think they attract them?response:by discussiong such matters first.then, showing them that they are the saved secte that the prothet talked about.takfir came later on and you know what are ALGERIA had lived during the last decade.why people accept things that are unacceptable to you and me?because of ignorance.so,knowing religion is not a waste of time for sure.may be it is not the best place to talk about some matters i agree.but, saying that it is not important seeing what wahabism with its strange doctrine did in ALGERIA i am at the opposite of your point view.salam and good luck.

Shell versus core
Lazhar
You call these long emails "a small look". I think
you are overlooking the shells (qushur) and forgetting
the heart of the matter.
The algerian youth got misguided because they did
not learn their true deen before they started talking
about complicated things.
I remember i had friends who never prayed but when
they started to pray (not even in masjid) they started
as Shia. They started by insulting omar, othman and all
the companions. WHY???
I see it as a pattern: we forgot the essential which
is our own behavior and start talking about muutazila
and stuff like that.
I remember people preaching in mosques while
they deserted their job as teachers. If they
have a HUGE job to do it is to teach these poor
kids some basics knowledge not to go
to a mosque to preach hatred.
The youth you mentioned which were hired by the GIA and others
were the results of that laxism in our schools. I remember so
many teachers being sooooo lazy and so mean but at
the same time they make big speeches in mosques...
We have to be honest with ourselves before engaging
in scientology of Islam, which has its scholars anyway..you know
what, no one is able to discuss relativity or magnetism or
anything like that, because we all know that there are
people outr there who teaches it. You don;t need to know
it to live but you need to know how to turn a buttton of
a machine to survive. you need to know how
to talk in public to survive. Do you go to hell if
u pray regulraly and do good deeds (salihat) but
you don't know the meaning of arrahman???
The answer is NO.
Wassalam
