Desperately seeking my Algerian princess

You may have seen the film, Desperately seeking Susan. ( In which case you are probably old like me)

Well I'm desperately seeking my Algerian princess.

Please read this all before making any judgements.

I saw a beautiful Algerian princess on holiday while I stayed in Tunisia between 27th July and 9th August 2008. She was there with either her married brother or sister (I have an idea what her brother does for a living) helping to mind their kids boy 4, girl 2 and baby 2 months. I smiled and she smiled back and we did this for 2 weeks.

I left but since then have dreamt of her ever night and think that I should have tried to at least leave her my email. Beautiful long black hair and eyes to kill for. It's killing me as I think its just one of those chance meetings that you regret not doing anything about for the rest of your life. I didnt really do any thing as with her family there I didnt want any embarrasment to her or to my own family.

I've found out since that she has left the hotel and gone back to Algiers.

If this was film then I'm sure one of her friends would accidentally read this and go "oh my gosh" call her and it would be a happy ending but this is real life and there will be huge complications even if she can be found and is even remotely interested.
If anyone can recommend anyother forums maybe that the young people in Algiers use please let me know.

Its been 11 days since I saw her and this is worse than giving up cigarettes.

My friends say that I'm being completely irrational, that I cant try to find someone that I dont even know the name of but if I didnt try I'd regret this forever.

How do you know she is Algerian and from Algiers and what her brother does if you never spoke to her?

And how did you manage to find out she left the hotel where she was staying.

You could be really cheeky and ask the hotel for their details even a name you might be lucky............

Hi Mayissa, while I may be a fool, I am not foolish and this almost seems like a test of faith.

I spoke to her Brother/ Brother in Law a couple of times while in the swimming pool. It easier to talk man to man.

Now you may laugh at this and my friends are rolling about on the floor killing themselves at me falling in love with someone I never talked to at all because >> She on the other hand didn't speak a work of English or Urdu while I cant speak French or Arabic. ( But I'm starting to learn French since last week.)

I managed to get hold of the photographer at the hotel to check and pass on my email but by the time he got there she had gone. Oh fate was cruel !

Now I dont know whether I should just pay out for a private investigator or keep trying forums on the off chance that someone from Algiers knows her. Sadly I even managed to ensure that she was partially in some of the photo's that I took ( in the background of course)

I dont think you will find her looking for her on a forum we are writing in english and she might not even understand so that seems pretty pointless.......Can you not ask the photographer at the hotel to find out her name or her family name at least?!?!? She might be french Agerian and may have returned to France?!?! If you have a name you will probably be able to find her as well as a photo

You seem to have it pretty bad!!

What info did her Brother in law/Brother give you about themselves? Obviously he spoke english if he was there on business you might be able to atleast find out his name

Finding people is not that difficult if you atleast have a name to go on

Other things I can think of is to make friends with more people from Algiers, post on other forums.
I sound like an extremely sad obsessed person but really I'm normal, good job, stable family blah blah blah but this girl's smile wrapped itself around my heart.
Are there any newspapers that are Algiers specific that you know of ?

dude, sorry to keep sounding morbid but sometimes the best thing to do is ... nothing... you know? just leave it to fate..sometimes when you plan and plan and plan, things never go your way - but when you trust that a coincidence is better than a 1000 appointments ....

I do not currently live in Alger but I know the city well, your best chance is to find out her name or family name and try to track her that way that wont be a problem. I advise not to make a website with her photograph you wouldn’t want to embarrasses the poor girl, she might be married you don’t know!!

But as someone else pointed out maybe it is better to leave it to fate. We do not choose who we marry god does!!!
