Anyone know how to contact past employees of ALGEO (seismic exploration) in Algiers/Algeria.
The company may have evolved into another one called ENEGEO but most likely has just gone away. It was a joint venture between Sonatrach and Teledyne Exploration.
I worked and lived there for 3 years in the early 70's and made many friends whom I've lost track of.

By your note I assume that you are searching for expatriates who worked in Algeria for Algeo. I worked there in late 60’s and early 70’s as a supervisor over several Algeo and Algeo/Sonatrach crews. Several of us are looking for long lost friends both Algerian and expats. We all have fine memories of Algeria and the people we worked with. Maybe we can help each other.

Sorry that I've not checked back in some time but thanks for the replies.
I worked for GeoSpace Corp out of Houston. We had offices in Paris and a small in in Algiers (GeoSpace Algerie).
I maintained the instruments and helped train the observers and JO's several crews. So I'd love to make contact again with the many friends I had made on the crews, both Expats and Algerians. I would expecially like to contact some of the Algerians who came to Houston in the late '60's for training as observers on the GS-1700 systems. We had many many good times out in the field.
