Or you could just tell him you like him or ask him what your friendship means.

If he freaks out and dosent want to be your friend incase of fatal attraction then it is his perogative(excuse my spelling).
After all a true friendship is based on honesty and a true friendship wont crumble with something like that.

At least then you know and if he dosent feel the same way, then you can throw your rod in somewhere else lol!
