How to find mature Muslima for marriage?

As-Salamu Allaykum, all

Having tried Singles Sites & found most are Americanised, or tooo young, decide to look for "local" avenues for meeting / finding a mature-aged Muslima with a view to marriage. Hence this message.

There must be 'local' facilities within countries like Algeria, Tunisia, Morocco that mature Muslimas utilise to find decent husbands ???
Have tried 'searching for newspaper adverts but found no adverts of that category at all.

CAN ANYONE on the 'local' scene please advise; 'How to find mature Muslima for marriage' ??

I am mature Muslim [60-ish], Not wealthy [so can't jump on a 'plane & fly over], & located in Australia.
ANY HELP will be very much appreciated.

I thought you were going to offer us some tips, instead you're begging us for some !! Never mind, sigh (lol).

Seriously, you've raised an important issue and I guess if you can find the answer to it, we could 'bottle it' and 'fling it' on the market together as partners (in business, I should add!). If I suggested a better use of the Internet, our Super Moderator, Al-Khiyal, would probably drop on us like a hurricane with warnings and scepticism on that method of 'fishing for a wife'.

So, what other choices does one have in your situation ? Not a lot! I'll be interested to know.

Maybe you could use your imagination and suggest something to Algeria.com ?? [But don't tell them I told you]

I'll just drop by with some cynicism:

Is Alifs1 fluent in Arabic or French?

My files say 'la2'

Which raises the interesting question - why should anyone look for a partner on certain sites if they are not able to effectively communicate with them, if, indeed, Muslimas of mature years are actually advertising on Maghreb matrimonial sites ?

I also think that the time spent creating profiles on scores of matrimonial/dating sites could be better spent logging off, walking out of the room, and going out into the real world to meet people in real life - angling in daylight is so much different to the hobby of fishing in the dark.

OK, just in case you think I'm being unhelpful, here is a great tip:

Head off to a district where Muslims hang out, and check out the pharmacies. Make your way to the shelves where the hair coloring dyes and potions are, and wait patiently. Sooner or later a woman meeting your requirements is bound to show up, and that's when you make your move - approach her quietly and whisper those precious words that for years she has been waiting to hear:

"Pssssssst, you want me to keeeeeeeel your hasband?"

Alifs1, one thing, if you are a divorcee - you're saying you're in your 60s - and not wealthy, Allah y3eeeeenak! Joking really! but if you can't afford getting a plane's ticket then how would you provide for your wife?! Even a mature girl would wonder that I guess. Just my thought and plus it seems you're not really looking for someone based in Australia right? Allah y3eeeeeeeeeeeenak khoya! I heard there are lots of Arab Muslims in Australia but mostly of Lebanese descent though... my 50 pennies on the subject only
