Wassup dawg, yeah yeah we holding it down up here in the Nasty North hehe...

Im from right smack in the middle of the mighty Sahara desert, but my family lives in Ain Oulmene, my mom's side is Ukrainian so Im a Algerian/Ukrainian goddamn Canadian (not too many on my kind hehehe ONE OF A KIND). I lived in Algeria for six years before we fled, I remember it VERY well however I have not been back in over 17 years. How's Algiers? What could I expect going back? Did you have any issues due to your citizenship? Aaargh so many questions to ask.

Anyways man nice meeting you and holler back...

From your message you are at least 23 years old (good old math skills). If you dont know anyone in Algeria it could be boring at that age. It really depends on your family there and how much fun they are. The city is still as great as ever (and getting more populated, and dirtier i guess) but wallahi its beautifal. You appreciate it so much more when you dont go in 17 years. As far as citizenship, they will not say anything about the Canadian but you gotta have your Algerian passport. They will only ask you for your Canadian when you are leaving the country (to verify that you can enter other countries). HOwever, you gotta make sure about your army papers, otherwise you can get stuck there for 2 years in some army camp in Tindouf (and you dont want that ... no offence to Tindouf lol). But you gotta check it out though:
