Because i've resigned from work and it's such a relief! After 3 years, i've come to the natural end to my position - i can't develop any further. I feel like a hugh weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
No more, coming to work late, no more traveling everywhere first class, no more staying in hotels, no more comforts, no more trying to tell people to be civilised and share knowledge, no more work really! LOLOLOL
Ah well, i haven't got another job to go too - but the future is bright the future is mine!
Have a wonderful day people! and be happy!
Ruks

Hi Ruks
Sorry are you a Sis or a Bro. Just asking because Khoukoum just addressed you as Sis?
Well I am a male and that's probably why every nick name on this board is a male one by default for me (unless explicitly female). Well it doesn't matter anyways.
But since you seem to have acheived something quite special today, I was wondering if you could tell us a bit more.. for starts what did you work with until recently?
I wish you the best, but was just wondering if you wanted to talk about it?

Salam, Ruks.
My present job situation is a little shaky. I hope I have your optimism when I finally walk out of the door.
Best of luck in a new job search. Or if you plan on staying out of work for a while, have a good chill-out!

Salaam People! Hope your all wondeful today! isn't it such a great day?
Thanks for your kind words guys - much appreciated.
Khokom the job was OK in the beginning, but eventually it just became more boring because i had done what i could do and it became more repatative. The perks of the job was good, i won't find them anywhere else i don't think.
Boualem - LOL - i am most definately a sister - LOL, no mistaking! You may have also guessed that i'm non-algerian too - so my username wouldn't be too clear to you.
Our organisation works in the post-16 sector - we do alot of training of principals, manager, directors, teachers etc in all state-funded colleges. My role was in the Equality and Diversity unit - me and the only other person, used to go across the country and train people on E & D issues. Now that he has left and my organisation isn't really taking this subject seriously any longer - i don't see much interest for me.
So what about yourself? I've gathered that your algerian.
Little_Mem - Why is your situation shaky? Do you want to leave? Are you looking for another job? Perhaps speak to your managers/HR and see if there can be any changes to help ease any problems. Have you got union representaion?
I'm thinking of doing lots of voluntary and community work for a while, before i commit myself to another job- oh and marriage would be nice too! LOL

The company is not doing very well, and may be sold. I'm hanging on for my redundancy money as I've been there for 7 years and should get a decent payout. I'm really biding my time as I'm studying part time too for a degree. I want to go on and do teacher training, so my job's funding that mainly as well as paying my bills. If I can stretch another years employment out of them though, that will help out a great deal.
