Going to Paris for a weekI need a nice hotel to stay any idea where to get a good offer?
Will be splashing out on shopping until I drop..
Not willing to pay full rate for a four star hotel but refuse to lower my standard.
Yes, like that I am greedy wanted all and if I can get away with it why not
Any world walker out there?

Hello Daloula

I usually use lm.hotelclub.net to book for hotel rooms. It\s last minut offers and they usually have good ones in Paris. Last time I went to Paris I booked the hotel from this site and I don\t remember if I paid 90 or 70 euros instead of full price 230 euros
The @full rate@ prices are real ones (I check at the hotels when I arrive), but I wonder who pais the full amount, as my swedish neighbors also booked from a web site
There is only a prob with the site, some hotels show as 3.5 stars and are included when u search for 4 star hotels, but they actually are 3 star hotels
and some say Internet connection but when u go to the hotel it works only in the lounge or sometimes via the Tv box
But if u know the hotel in question there should be no probs
Here is the cheapest 4 stars hotel in place d\italie offer for 85 euros/night.

Happy shoping mais matzeyrich lrajlek esantoura
PS> I just wanted to add that u actually don\t pay full price via credit card, u just pay the garantee and have tp print the receipt and show it at the hotel desk to pay the rest

Hello Abdu,
Thank you khoya!
You never disappoint
13 arrds is not my hunting ground ..lol. Too far for me and my shopping spree
Lol@ loosen your belt
: Abdu, one day we will meet by the grace of god and you will see for yourself how karima I can be
but seriously the hotel rates in western Europe are going up far too much for my licking.
To tell you the truth I prefer to eat in good restaurant (famous chef) I am more of a gourmet than gourmand
: Buying clothes, jewels, cosmetics and go to spas to have treatment is what I prefer spending my money on
I also like to stay around Champs Elysees, Madeleine and Fbg St Honoree.
I don¡¦t mind le Meridien Etoile its a bargain(showing 147 Euros per night while public rate is 395) but Concorde la fayette cross the road is a no no, they have a great shopping centre downstairs and palais du congree for movies and shows (I want to see Shimane Badi) but the rooms are awful talking of four stars..Lol
I like Francois 1er. I don't mind spending 200:Euros a night including taxes & breakfast

My pleasure Daloula
U can actually still get cheaper than that in the 8th, here is one around Fbg St Honore
http://lm.hotelclub.net/Hotel.asp?Ho...Date=2005-7-14
U can get a double room with balcony and it's still cheaper
It would not be a big deal since u will be outside most of the time anyway, but I personnaly don't know these hotels
I tell you in advacne Happy birthday

Abdu, nastaaraf bik. Ya kho you are unique in your style, kindness and good memory.
Khmouss alik you really made my day
Thank you and god bless.
I shall send you your share of halwa from birthday cake by FedEx if you give me your add
This hotel is good especially that it has a fitness club. I like to exercise early morning before breakfast it gives me the energy to walk for 6 to 7 hours in those great boulevards and go into every single shop I pass.
Oh, boy do I miss Paris

Daloula,
There is a nice Hotel called Select Hotel and is located 1 Place de la Sorbonne. Great location off Boulevard Siant Michel and five minutes walk from Quartier Latin/Fontaine St Michel. I hope you enjoy your Holidays. I miss Paris too
Take care now.
MM
PS: Happy Birthday.
