The Algerian Prime Minister, Ahmed Ouyahia, affirmed Saturday that the re-opening of the Moroccan Algerian borders does not feature in the agenda of the Algerian government, reported MAP news agency.

In a broadcast “forum de la television”, Ouyahia said that no borders' opening is to take place, denying this way the information which stated that the initiative was to take place next summer.

Ouyahia, who is also the leader of the party “the National Rally for Democracy” (RND), said that “the problem between Morocco and Algeria is known.”

According to him, the problem is not only due to the Sahara conflict but also to “the bilateral issues related to the borders.”

Ouyahia also refuted any foreign pressure on Algeria to reopen the borders.
