Algerians and Islam

I was excited when I can share such questions with algerian brothers and sisters online, so that we can develop good conclusion and understanding...

my first question : Algerians and Islam ? what do you think ? How is Islam in Algeria and how is the relationship between Algerians and Islam ?

Give proves and explanations to your opinions please and try to avoid choatic talk, just be clear and precis

I start, my opinion i think the situation of islam in Algeria is very sad, other muslims from other country tell us that we r good muslims and practicants, but i dont think so when i look inside the society...Islam is even politicized in Algeria, and Algerians dont practice it well, there r alo of traitors and hypocrites, they say we believe in Mohamed and Allah, but their Action do not prove that...

In another way, I think if islam gets better in Algeria, and algerians wake up know how to be muslims very well, this country will change.

I start, my opinion i think the situation of islam in Algeria is very sad...Algerians dont practice it well, there r alo of ... hypocrites, they say we believe in Mohamed and Allah, but their Action do not prove that... if islam gets better in Algeria, and algerians wake up ...know how to be muslims ... this country will change.

I think what is sad, perhaps even dangerous, is the dogged interference with people's faiths some people indulge in Algeria. We all know that there isn't, nor should there be any form of compulsion in Islam, the true spirit of Islam.

People and nations go through stages of moral and spiritual development. They eventually get there. There is no doubt about it. We are humans. We need faith. Islam doesn't need warriors in Algeria. It is part of our identity, culture and roots. Nobody needs lecturing about Islam!!! People should be allowed to enter the Mosques willingly, when they are ready. Force it down their throats and they will all 'regurgitate' it or be alienated from it for life. People who keep judging and interfering are actually producing the opposite effect of what they want to achieve. That is sad. They don't even know it!

We have been tearing each other apart for many years, and where did that get us? Nowhere. Do we need a 'Taliban' government? NO. Do we need a dictatorship? No. We need freedom and respect for diversity and equality. We don't need anyone to attempt to impose their views and ways of life on everybody else.

You will find that it's only a matter of time when Islam WILL prevail, not only in Algeria, but in most parts of the world, too. So, put your sword away brother. "Sa tara annass yadkhuloon fee deeni'llahi afwaajan..." It's already happening in America and in Europe. Just read all the revert stories. It'll make you feel good.
