Assalamualaikum my dear brothers and sisters,

This is a reminder to myself first and foremost. One of the beauties of Islam is that we soley rely on Allah whenever we need anything and have patience even when we don't get the results we want. The key is to keep having faith in Allah.

Found an old lecture explaining the origin of horoscopes. As muslims we do not rely on horoscopes/luck/omens/amulets for a good future. Equally we don't rely on any intermediaries when we ask Allah of anything. When we pray we have a direct connection to Allah.

Only Allah knows our future as we were created by him. We just have to keep praying for the best Inshallah. Not really rely on some kind of fortune-telling.
