It seems that religion is working fine for some people and it is called the freedome of choice in a modern society.
If you it does not work for you , drop it and give it a rest.To each his own
Knowledge and humblness go hand in hand for better living.
Sarcasm and arrogance create war and misery.

Religion is an open forum ,it all depends on the way you assimilate it .if used wrongly it can be desasteress and crippling.

PS: GREED is much bigger problem on this planet than religion will ever be .
