If one is to adequately define the spirit, soul, and body one must first show the spheres in which each of the three parts functions. First, of great importance, is the spirit, the interlinking essence that enables a person to communicate directly with God. With this divine gift upon the human, man can worship God, serve God, and know and understand God in intimate ways. Second, the soul is that which is called the personality of a person, and it enables one to remain in contact with the Manifest, and it becomes the Prime Function within the psychological realm. Lastly, the physical body with its five senses permits a person to relate to the external (material) world, and to communicate the perceived aspects of that outer existing something. It might pay for each to examine the three inter-related and inter-connected parts in detail to see how they (the tripartite) supports religious doctrine.
