3-DAY ARABIC INTENSIVE PROGRAMME

This programme from Toronto hopes to illustrate classical teaching
methodologies and introduce Online Arabic classes. A unique offering
that will provide a framework of understanding of how it is possible
to achieve nearly the same experience with online classes,

* Mufti Yusuf Mullan - Director of the Shariah Programme in Toronto,
Canada. He studied under Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani for 4 years.

This international conference will focus on the pictorial and textual traditions of illustrated Arabic manuscripts produced from the 11th to 14th centuries in Syria, Egypt, Iraq, North Jazira, South Eastern Anatolia and Western Iran. The conference will gather an impressive list of international scholars on the painterly and textual traditions of Arabic manuscripts, who will pay particular attention to the interrelationship of text and image, and the importance of cultural context.
