Manchester beat Liverpool today with a thunderous header from Rio Ferdinand at the end of the game. Manchester got the free kick when Evra was held by Finnan I believe. The free kick resulted in a great cross and an even better header from Rio. The goalie got a touch to it but not enough to keep it from going in!

2 games in hand later and the table will be how it should be with Liverpool firmly in 2nd

We will see after those games in hand
However if you dont win both of them you wont overtake us. But still, youll have to keep it up to the end of the season to finish second, and you havent had any injury problems like Man U so things could turn out a lot worse yet

P GD PTS
1 Chelsea 23 37 62
2 Man Utd 23 22 48
3 Liverpool 21 17 44
If we win our two games in hand then we would be as follows,
P GD PTS
1 Chelsea 23 37 62
2 Liverpool 23 17 50
3 Man Utd 23 22 48

Dont worry, we will win both (Insha-Allah) and we've got petrol in the engine yet. Our players are looking forward to the World Cup so they have plenty of motivation.

Hmmm, well I cant comment on whether you will win the games in hand, anything can happen in Enlgish football, but with the huge injury list, and the loss of roy keane, Man U have some serious midfield problems for the second half of the season. And if Gary Neville gets suspended we could drop some points.
I think this will aid liverpool in their pursuit of 2nd place, although i think it would take credit away from liverpool because they have not had many injuries. Obviously im not a fan of liverpool
but i think Rafa has done a good job, especially when he probably has less resources than Man U and chelsea.
Cant wait for the Champions league to start again (even thought were not in it), as thats a lot more interesting than Chelsea's buying, i mean march, to the title

Aloha elHenni, the most points you can get from those two matches is 3 points assuming that you gonna win tomorrow against birmingham (which is not that an easy game) and of course lose on sunday against chelsea which is the most logical scenario
good luck buddy
