I used to hate Manchester just a year and a half ago but lately ive really been liking the team. The new crop of players are really starting to impress me. This includes the likes of Wayne Rooney, Alan Smith, John O'Shea, Darren Fletcher, etc... not to mention the usuals such as Van Nistelrooy, Giggs, Scholes. I still think signing Park from PSV Eindhoven is going to be a bad move. He's a decent player but I dont think he can handle the physical part of the game. I think Man U are going to finish second this year behind Chelsea (too strong!) and i think they'll reach at least the quarter-finals of the Champions League, probably going even further.

Hi tony, hope u're alright. Man u got a Fabulous team this year but unfortunately we've got too many injured players this year : roy keane, gabriel heinze, Gary Neville, Quinton Fortune, Wes Brown, Louis Saha and Solskjaer. Those are key players and of course some of the best players in the team. The good news though is that we've got too many young talented players such us ronaldo (my favorite) rooney of course, fletcher, richardson etc those players are in the right club and will be world class players in the future. Actually, Rooney was voted the best young player in the world by the Fifpro along with ronaldo who recieved a special award. Chelsea are starting very strong this year (as expected) and i won't be surprised if they indeed win the championship this year. As for the champions league, i believe that Man u won't go beyond the quarter finals and i still believe that Lyon has a big chance to win it. Take care[/B][/QUOTE]

CL: Manchester United 0-0 Villareal
Manchester United tied 0-0 today versus Spanish club Villareal at Old Trafford. The Red Devils had a number of chances but could not break the deadlock. The tie means Manchester are 3rd in the standings with 6 points and must likely win their next game away to Benfica to have any chance of qualifying to the next round.
Manchester United: Van Der Sar - Brown (Neville), Silvestre, Ferdinand, O'Shea - Smith (Saha), Scholes, Ronaldo, Fletcher (Park) - Rooney, Van Nistelrooy

Have you seen any Arsenal matches lately? Henry is on fire man, the youngsters are still improving aswell, look how Van Persie is coming along, while Man U are getting old and fading!
