Location: Stade Pierre Claver Divounguy, Port-Gentil, Gabon

    Standings:

    5. Algeria 7 points

    6. Rwanda 5 points

In what is probably the most meaningless game of the year, we travel to Gabon to close out the qualifiers. Gabon beat us 3-0 at home (Cherrad red card). Hopefully we can avenge that and regain our pride. Players pick for the game:

    Hichem Mezair (ES Sétif)
    Abdelaali Messai (ASO Chlef)
    Nassim Ousserir (NA Hussein Dey)

    Fadel Brahami (RAA Louvièroise)
    Antar Yahia (OGC Nice)
    Madjid Bougherra (FC Gueugnon)
    Mehdi Meniri (FC Metz)
    Samir Zaoui (ASO Chlef)
    Samir Zazou (JS Kabylie)
    Abdelkader Laifaoui (CR Belouizdad)
    Farid Cheklam (ASO Chlef)

    Nasserdine Kraouche (Charleroi SC)
    Chérif Abdeslam (NA Hussein Dey)
    Abdelmadjid Benatia (MC Oran)
    Hocine Metref (USM Alger)
    Rafik Saifi (AC Ajaccio)
    Lazhar Hadj Aissa (ES Sétif)

    Hamza Yacef (JS Kabylie)
    Mansour Boutabout (CS Sedan)
    Hocine Fenier (CS Constantine)

Mehdi Meniri (FC Metz) and Salim Arrache (RC Strasbourg) have both declared forfit for the game. Both players are 'suffering' from injuries, which will see them miss the game. Both players have skipped national team games in recent months, preferring their club over country.
