Algeria, Morocco U-17 squads plan friendlies

March 18, 2010 -- The U-17 national teams of Algeria and Morocco will play two friendlies in Algiers on March 24th and 27th, APS reported on Wednesday (March 17th). The encounters are part of preparations for the 2011 African championships.

Algeria, Morocco draw in U-17 friendly

March 26, 2010 -- Algeria will host another U-17 friendly against Morocco on Saturday (March 27th). The first friendly on Wednesday ended in a 3-3 draw. Meziane, Bourdrie and Tayeb scored for Algeria, while Sheikh netted one and El Ouardi netted two of Morocco's 3 goals. The friendlies are part of preparations for the U-17 African Cup of Nations.

Morocco beats Algeria in U-17 friendly

March 30, 2010 -- Morocco defeated Algeria 2-1 in a second U-17 friendly played in Tipasa over the week-end, MAP reported on Monday (March 29th). The first friendly ended with a 3-3 draw. The friendlies were part of the teams' preparation for the U-17 African Cup of Nations in 2011.

Algeria U-17 team to host 2nd Iran friendly

May 14, 2010 -- Algeria and Iran will play a U-17 friendly on Friday (May 14th) at Algiers' Kolea stadium, APS reported. The first friendly in Zeralda last Saturday ended with a 1-0 win for the Iranians.
