    1/8 Final Results

    JS Kabylie 1-0 ES Guelma (AET)

    JSK had to wait until extra time to defeat 3rd division side ES Guelma in their Round of 16 matchup in El Eulma. Hamza Yacef scored the winner in the 110th minute to help JSK move to the quarter-finals. They will face NA Hussein Dey in Boumerdes.

    USM Alger 2-0 USM Annaba (AET)

    The other game of the day also went into extra time as USM Alger defeated USM Annaba 2-0 with a goal in both extra time periods. Mohamed Hamdoud opened the scoring in the 93rd minute and Rabie Benchergui sealed the game in the 115th minute with the second. USM Alger will face RC Kouba in the quarter-finals in 5 Juillet.

    JS Kabylie 1-1 NA Hussein Dey (JSK win 4-2 on penalties)

    Sorry, section hasnt been updated in a bit ...

    JS Kabylie qualified to the semi-finals of the 2006 Algeria Cup with a 4-2 victory in the penalty shootout against NA Hussein Dey in Boumerdes. JSK opened the scoring in the 11th minute thanks to Hamid Berguiga. NA Hussein Dey equalized through Sid Ahmed Kheddis in the 46th minute. Things stayed that way after 120 minutes before JSK won the penalty shootout. JSK will face USM Alger next week in the semi-finals in this same Boumerdes statdium, while MC Alger will face WA Tlemcen in Mostganem.

    Semi-finals:

    JS Kabylie vs USM Alger (in Boumerdes)
    MC Alger vs WA Tlemcen (in Mostganem)
