As usual, the FAF is set on breaking our hearts once again. They took us from Claude LeRoy to Pierre Lechantre to Henri Stambouli all the way down to Gilbert Gress with Nourdine Korichi to head our team. Who is Gress you ask? Well here's his coaching career:
-1977 Neuchâtel Xamax (Switzerland)
-1980 RC Strasbourg (France)
-1981 FC Brugge (Belgium)
-1990 Neuchâtel Xamax (Switzerland)
-1991 Servette Geneve (Switzerland)
-1994 RC Strasbourg (France)
-1998 Neuchâtel Xamax (Switzerland)
-2001 Switzerland National Team
-2001 FC Zurich (Switzerland)
-2002 FC Metz (France)
-2004 SK Sturm Graz (Austria)
-2005 FC Sion (Switzerland, D2)
Once again the FAF will hire a no name coach from some obscure European footballing nation. We had Wasiege and Leekens from Belgium and now Gress from Switzerland ....

Mali is a pretty good team. They struggled in the qualifiers but they have some sick players: Diarra (Lyon), Diallo (FC Nantes), etc.... They're way better than Burkina Faso. Plus, we only played them twice recently. Unlike the 8 games against Burkina.
