After 6 months of trying to hire a foreign coach the FAF and MJS said they will focus on hiring on a local coach. I guess its back to the likes of Saadane, Fergani, Ighil and co.

I think the problem is within the MJS and FAF and not with our prestigious local coaches and players. This is what always happens when politic gets over something and that the case with Football Algerien. History has proven that many times at the era of Makhloufi and Khalef in the 80's. I hope they (politics) stay away from Football if they want to do a favor to the country and the people.

    Hi,
You know as I do that we always had and still have potential magicians in the country, they are in every bit of Algeria, they just need someone like Madjer, Belloumi, Assad and the list is very long to name just a few, to go and dig for them, take care of them and get them to where they belong. In order to do that, we (we is for The Government) shall not disgrace the champions that we once had by forgetting them, on the contrary, they should be the reference and the guides to the following generations; and should be given the opportunity to work and prepare them with all the required conditions and means.

According to reports, the new coach of the NT is Jean-Michel Cavalli. Supposedly he has signed the deal already.

    Confirmed:

Frenchman Jean-Michel Cavalli has agreed to become the new coach of Algeria, according to the country's football federation.

Cavalli met with the federation's president Hamid Haddadj in Algiers to discuss the terms and conditions of the coach's contract.

The coach has worked with clubs in France, Greece, Saudi Arabia and most recently Italy, where he was manager of second division Trieste.....

Cavalli to take charge of Algeria

Here we are at start point again with experiments???

It seems that the politics and their satellites in the FAF are not learning from their lessons. The solution to our Foot-Ball crisis is within us and with our own competencies. I am 100% confident that no coach in the world would be able to get the national team to stand up back again, whatever his performances and experience are but a national one and I mentioned some of them. In the current situation, it is a team work that is critically needed. Refer to my post above #33.
