Four New Players To Be Called Up
Local newspaper El Khabar has announced that Jean-Michel Cavalli will call up four new European-based players for the upcoming camp in France. El Khabar named three of the four players, 20-year old defender Mohamed Chakouri (Montpellier), 21-year old striker Ali Samy Yachir (Montpellier) and 22-year old defensive midfielder Yacine Hima (Lyon). Chakouri played 15 games for Montpellier this season as a left back. He also led France's U19 national team to victory at the European Cup last summer. Yachir, who is born in Tizi Ouzou, featured 25 times for Montpellier this season but failed to score a goal. Finally, Hima spent last season on loan from Lyon at Chateauroux, teaming up in the midfield with Yazid Mansouri, and scoring 6 goals in 27 appearances. El Khabar did not list the identity of the fourth player but it will most likely be Atromitos FC's Rafik Djebbour, who had a breakout season in Greece this year.

Some good news to inform you guys about ... According to a source of mine real close to the Algerian NT, there is a chance that we will see 7 new French-Algerian players for the upcoming game against Guinea. All the players are under 23 years old and 6 of the 7 play in France. I can't release the names as of right now but maybe in the near future!

I guess this is good news:
The team will probably be wearing Umbro stuff in the coming years. The FAF is almost ready to sign a deal with Umbro. They had offers from Le Coq Sportif and Airness but finally chose Umbro.
