Ah good ol' Abdelnacer Ouadah. Ouadah was an international for France at the junior level and could never represent Algeria until the new rules came into effect in 2004. He was one of the first players in the world to make the switch along with Anther Yahia and Samir Beloufa. They played their first game for Algeria's A team on January 15th 2004 against Mali (a 2-0 loss) just 2 weeks before the African Cup. When the African Cup came about, he learnt that he was not going to start the first game against Cameroon (and he ended up not playing that game), he left the team and said that he was better than local players (and he mentioned Achiou who played that game). He also said that he did not need the Algerian national team, that he has a good enough career, etc... I think he was called up to the team again for a friendly after Ali Fergani took over the team (or some new coach anyway) but he still didn't show up. He's now been banned from the team. Here's his stats with the Algerian NT:

He was struggling with Metz at first but he's been getting better as of late. He's a great player. Too bad he's not real big on the NT.
