    English Premiership 2006-2007

Who are your hot tips or things to watch out for in 206.07 season. I dont follow other leaugues very much so im gonna have to be a Premiership only person.

    Liverpool

I cant wait to see Gonzales at Liverpool who finaly got his work permit, he is a very talked about player but we will see.

Bellamy - my tip for one of the best players in the Premiership next season. He was such an explosive player last season and scored about 12 goals for Blackburn eventhough he was injured for half the seaon and had terrible support.

He is one of those players that if he isnt getting the support he wont sit depressed up front but he'll run back take the ball and do it himself. Boy is he fast too.

    Man U

Im positive Fergy has something up his sleeve. I think a couple of good signings as well as some great man management is whats needed. If he can bring Van Nistelroy back then that would be fantastic - he may have said some bad things or whatever but other than Shevshenko ide like anyone to show me a more prolific goalscorer in the Champions League and the Premiership - he is second to none at Man U including Rooney and Ronaldo.

I think United really need Ronaldo to step up a gear and take charge of their midfield like he did last night for Portugal. United could do with another midfielder but defense is where they are weak and were very poor last seaon.

    Arsenal

They seem to me to be the team that could do so much yet could do so little. It all depends on how their young guys play, Fabrigas, Walcott, Adebayor, Rosidzki - we will see.

    Chelsea

I really dont know - they will either be absolutely fantastic or useless because how do you balance it - they seem to have filled their baloon up with too much water and it may burst.

Duff, Robben, Phillips, Cole, Makalele, Essien, Lampard, Ballack

Shevchenko, Crespo, Drogba, , Kolou, Phillips

try and balance those out - thats just greedy if ya ask me.

I cant even remember el-galacticos having a midfield and attacking choice like that.

    Outside Team

Spurs - Joll has been an excellent manager and he has already spent alot of money. Lets see who he has left by the start of the Premiership ie. will he still have Defoe, Carrick, Lennon, King. Big and important players cus in this premiership u need depth.

an interesting thing is that on the whole continent the highest known transfer was $8.9 million and in the Premiership there have been 9 known transfers which are higher than that totalling a whopping $219 million - and there are loads of other undisclosed deals which have been done. That also doesnt inlude wages etc... wages may not seem a big player in all of this but when u consider that Ballacks contract is worth £24 million then it all becomes a little different.

I heard one person saying the main reason why Fergy didnt proceed with signing Ballack was that he wasnt willing to break the wage structure, lets face it if you start paying Ballack at United 120,000 pounds a week then Rooney, Ronaldo and 30 million pounds Ferdinand might have something to say about their measly 60 thousand a week or whatever they get.

Liverpool are my top tip for next season.

Bellamy is a good buy, that is if he doesn't end up in jail after being charged with assault.

First off, Chelsea can sign all the players in the world, at the end of the day there's only 11 players on the pitch. Did they need to buy Ballack? Probably not. Buying Schevchenko was a smart move cause their strikers are not the best out there but Ballack is just a waste of money. With that said, I dont think Chelsea will win again next year. I think it will by Manchester United. Liverpool have not been impressive and signing Bellamy will not have that much of an effect. Arsenal have a very young team and I dont think they will contend. I think it will come down to Manchester United and Chelsea with my Red Devils triumphing at the end. The players are hungry (3 years without winning the league). I think a couple more signings are on the way and the team will be well on its way.
