    that's lame....

Yeah, I just checked out a couple of "Zidane headbutts materazzi" articles and i swear all three of them where the same word for word.... and they all said that the coach is all ashamed and so is zidane.... that's the biggest bs i've ever heard.... i mean i totally agree w/ el henni that these journalists just want to make him apologize for what he did and they don't even know the freakin reason why....!!!

I just can't wait for that interview to come out w/ zidane (if there is one)....

"....Though neither Lippi, Domenech nor any player would comment on what was said between the pair in the closing stages of extra time, with whispers ranging from racist abuse to allegations that Materazzi had accused Zidane of being involved in the steroid abuse scandal that tainted his former club Juventus, both managers were united in their view that the Argentinian referee only showed the red card after his assistants had studied the incident on a television monitor by the side of the pitch. It is claimed they then contravened Fifa regulations by informing Elizondo of a head-butt that went unseen at the time...."

DAMN!! do u mean to say that if it wasn't for technology, the referee wouldn't have seen it, therefore zidane would have stayed in the game and led france to a victory...??? oh... of all the things to screw this up....

i think he knew exactly what he was doing. but i guess the effects of it is - we are more interested in why he headbutted the other player than the fact that italy won the game. whether it was intentional or not - you'll defintaly talk about this and remember this then the game itself.

of course Zidane has had a great career - and he is a great player, this one incident will not tarnish his career or skills at all.

but i do think that he wasn't playing too well yesterday. And after missing that header - i guess he had to think about something else to do. LOL

or maybe he was just fed up with france LOL! i too can't wait to hear the interview or read the autobiography. see i've already forgotten that Italy won the game! LOL

Thumbs up Zidane...Simply the best ..v

What I liked about Zidane is that after hitting the guy , he stood there waiting for his Red card ...
Normally palyers beg the referee to stay on the pitch or they start making up excuses etc...but HE DID NOT! ...It simply shows that ZIDANE is a man who is responsible for his actions and does not try to cover up for anything. WHAT YOU SEE IS WHAT YOU GET.....
