What was said for zidane to do that? Looking at the reaction it must have been something bad.

The BBC pundits are saying it will stain his career. What a ludicrous statement!

Indeedy. I think he may regret doing it, depending on what was said to him. Ta3erfou les algeriens wenif! But, it was just a spontaneous response and to be honest penalties is such an unpredictable end to a match, unless you are Germany (you know you are going to win) or England (you know you will lose).

At least he did it because a mobhead insulted his parents, Rooney did it for absolutely nothing.
10/10 Zidane, your parents first then everyhting else, it also means his more Algerian than what a lot of people think.
And Shirear? what a hypocrit he was licking Zidane`s rear a week ago. I bet you if Zidane loves his parents he is not regreting this now.
And the Khrazzi how dare he insults the best player of history, shame on the Italians!
France dominated the rest of the game after the first half, but that`s football, nobody should feel bad about it, it was penalties, both teams deserved to win practically, but as I said france was much better technically.Last edited by Al-khiyal; 10th July 2006 at 00:48.

Yeah the world might just forget all of that and remember a match which if he had stayed on may not have been any different.
