listen people karim benzema is some serious player, i think its time we start some demonstration or petition to pressure him to join algeria rather than france, cos im telling you its not gonna be long before he gets a call up from france, then its another zidane situation where we say what if he played for algeria reh reh reh, no more what ifs we need him for algeria he could be that missing link for us.

but what happened to pride? he must get enough money from lyon, and im sure when hes older he'll get signed by chelsea or another foreign team.

Players like Amri or Deham just play for Algeria coz that they can show that they play an International niveau...

thats what i am saying if u dont have algerian pride then in my list ur not algerian. so if u take money over ur country then i feel like they are one those qawadeen franca during the algerian war.

like seriously when these algerian players saw the ivory coast on the damn world cup, didnt they say to themselves i can see the algerian team in the world cup too if i help out.

Alright, I know I said I'd stay away from here until the Algerian NT results get better but I couldn't resist on this one.

If you really want Benzema to play for Algeria then you need to fix up the FAF cause thats where the real problem is. Our Football Federation is one of the worst federations out there. There's absolutely no organization, no infrastructure, nothing in place to allow Algerian football to grow. Not even the national team is run properly. Players get phone calls from random individuals at the FAF telling them they've been picked for the next game but they get no info, no plane tickets, no communication with the coach (though now its changing with Cavalli). Players are not even insured properly!!!

I doubt Benzema will ever play for us and to be honest I don't blame him. To be proud of being Algerian is one thing but to play for Algeria (or France) is a completely different story, its not fair to judge someone on that. I'll support the kid in any decision he makes, I can't hate on him for wishing to play for France cause its the most logical choice.
