October 7, 2007 -- The drawing of lots for the Arab Champions League round two of 16 took place Saturday (October 6th) in Jeddah, under the presidency of Algerian Mohamed Raouraoua. Algeria's USM Algiers and ES Setif will meet Kuwait's al-Arabi, who knocked out MC Oran in the first round, and Saudi Arabia's el-Wahda Mecca, respectively. Morocco’s Raja Casablanca and Wydad Casablanca will face Sudan's el-Merreikh and Oman's al-Oruba, respectively. Tunisia’s CA Bizertin will play the winner of the game between the UAE’s al-Shaab and Jordan’s al-Faisali. Libya’s Ittihad will play Syria's al-Majd. The first leg matches will be played on October 23rd and 24th and the return leg is scheduled for November 5th and 6th.

October 24, 2007 -- Algeria's USMA lost 3-2 to Kuwait's al-Arabi in an Arab Champions League (ACL) second-round, first-leg match played Tuesday (October 23rd) in Kuwait City. Mali's Mintou Doucouré and Amar Ammour scored the goals for the Algerian team. In the same tournament on Monday, Libya's al-Ittihad tied Syria's al-Majd 1-1 at home.

Jeudi 25 octobre 2007 -- L'USM Alger s'est inclinée face à la formation koweïtienne d'Al Arabi sur le score de 3 à 2 au match aller du second tour de la Ligue des champions arabe de football disputé mardi soir au stade Salem Essabah (Koweït-City). Menés par deux buts d’écart, œuvres de Abdelqadous (21’) et Al Khatib (27’, s.p) au bout d’une heure de jeu, les joueurs de Amrani ont rétabli l’équilibre avant de se faire une nouvelle fois distancés suite à une troisième banderille signée Khaled Khalef (71’). Les deux buts de l'USM Alger ont été inscrits par Samir Bentayeb (63’) et le Malien Mintou Doucouré (67’). Le match retour se déroulera le mardi 6 novembre à Alger.

October 26, 2007 -- Algeria's ES Sétif tied Saudi Arabia's al-Wahda 1-1 in Mecca on Wednesday (October 24th) in an Arab Champions League second-round, first-leg game. The Algerian team opened scoring in the 30th minute with a goal by Remy Adico.
Wydad Casablanca snatched a valuable 3-2 victory over Oman's al-Oruba. Faouzi El Brazi scored the first goal, followed by a two others by Mohammed Madihi.
Raja Casablanca drew 2-2 with Sudan's al-Merrikh, despite finishing the game with only 10 players after Chaksi Abdelwahed received a red card in the final minutes of the game. Hicham El Amrani and Khalid Sbai scored for the Moroccan team.

October 31, 2007 -- USM Alger qualified for the group stage of the Arab Champions League, without playing the second leg of the round, after FIFA suspended the Kuwaiti Football Federation (KFF) on Monday (October 29th), Algerian press reported. USMA was due to play Kuwait's al-Arabi, but the KFF was banned from all international activities, due to governmental interference in the national federation's election, in violation of FIFA regulations.
