July 3, 2007 -- Malian international Cheikh Oumar Dabo has signed a three-year contract with French 2nd division club Le Havre and will be leaving Algeria's JS Kabylie (JSK), Liberte and El Moudjahid reported on Tuesday (July 3rd). According to Liberte the transfer amounts to 1.5m euros. Dabo will join Le Havre no earlier than July 23rd, following JSK’s African Champions League games against FAR Rabat on Friday and against Tunisia’s Etoile du Sahel on July 22nd in Sousse. Dabo has scored five goals in the 2007 African Champions League. In the Algerian league, he was voted player of the month in February, March, April and May last season and ended as the top scorer in the league with 17 goals in 27 appearances. He was the first foreign player ever to be top scorer in Algeria.
