October 11, 2007 -- The traditional "November 7" Maghreb soccer tournament will begin in Hammam-Lif, Tunisia on November 3rd, the Tunisian Football Federation said Wednesday (October 10th). In the first matches Morocco will play Algeria and Tunisia will face Libya. The final is scheduled for November 6th. This year's event will proceed under the aegis of the North-African Football Union.

November 7, 2007 -- Algeria's national under-23 team defeated Tunisia on Tuesday (November 6th) in the final of the November 7 football tournament in Tunis. The regulation time ended in a 0-0 draw, but Algeria won the match 4-2 on penalties.
