January 30, 2009 -- Algeria's ASO Chlef will host Guinean football club Fello Star de Labé for an African Champions League first round, first leg match Friday (January 30th) at Boumezrag. For their first-ever Champions League outing, the Chlefiens face formidable opponents: former CAF Cup semi-finalists who currently lead their national league. "We are ready for the event. The whole group is focused," Liberté quoted ASO coach Abdelkader Amrani as saying on Thursday. He does not know, however, if injured players Sid-Ali Abbou, Mohamed Zaouche and Samir Zaoui will be cleared to play for the Red and Whites.
