The Algerian international Karim Ziani is set to move to Paris, France, to treat an injury that he sustained during a training session with his German club Wolfsburg last Friday, sources revealed.
The club will most likely accept the player’s request who used to call on the services of his personal doctor “ Bouaxel” to treat the same types of injuries that usually disappear within ten days.
The president of the Algerian Football Association (FAF) Mohammed Raouraoua will personally intervene before the club’s administration in case where they don’t allow him to move to Paris. The Algerian squad cannot afford to do without Karim Ziani especially that 20 days separate us from the match versus Egypt.
Karim Ziani had a torn muscle at his right thigh during a training session with his club on Friday morning. The club’s doctor has indicated that the player could be out three weeks.
According to the player’s friends, the injury was the consequence of the flu that Ziani caught which caused him to lose weight and impacted on his capacity to sustain the intensity of the training session imposed by his coach.
Zinai reassures the Algerian fans
In a conversation with "Echourok", Karim Ziani has declared that he was injured at his right thigh” I contracted a torn muscle at my right thigh during Friday morning training session and the analysis revealed that I could be out three weeks but I will do my utmost to be fit for the match versus Egypt”.
