December 9, 2009 -- The Confederation of African Football (CAF) held the draw for its 2010 continental competitions in Cairo on Tuesday (December 8th). In the African Champions League, Tunisian clubs Esperance will face Sierra Leone's East End Lions and Club Africain will play SC Sahel of Niger. Algerian champions ES Sétif will face the Black Devils of Congo, while the other Algerian team, JS Kabylie, will clash with Gambia's Armed Forces. Libya's Ittihad will face Tempete Mocaf of Central Africa and Ahly Benghazi will play Djoliba of Mali. As to the Moroccan teams, Raja Casablanca will meet Fello Star of Guinea and Difaa El Jadida will play Os Balantas of Guinea Bissau. In the Confederation Cup, Algeria's CR Belouizdad will face Libya's Al-Tersana, Ahly of Tripoli will play Chad and FUS Rabat of Morocco will play a Senegalese team. FAR Rabat of Morocco and Tunisian clubs CS Sfaxien and ES Sahel are exempted from the preliminary round. The first leg matches of the preliminary round for the two competitions will be held in February.
